Any school, organization, or business may apply for
an RRIE Membership by completing the Membership Application and paying the required fee.Membership Types
There are four types of RRIE memberships:
- Individual Membership - $60
Entitles an individual to one membership card for use by member only.
- Organization Membership - $215
Entitles an organization to four membership cards. All teachers within the organization may share these cards. However, only four teachers may present cards and shop on an
Open Day.
System Membership - $365 plus $40 per additional card
Entitles a system to distribute membership cards to branches within the organization's
system as they deem appropriate. Teachers in each branch may share the cards. The number of cards each branch receives determines the number of teachers from that branch who may
present cards and shop at the Recycle Center on an Open Day.
Corporate Sponsorship - $365
Entitles a corporation to purchase eight membership cards for the school(s) of
choice. Recipient(s) will be entitled to the same privileges as an organizational membership.
RRIE memberships are good for one year, commencing from date of purchase.
Each membership card entitles the cardholder to receive enough materials for up to 30 students on each Open Day. For documentation that assists our grant writing, cards must be presented at sign-in.
Upon leaving, materials will be weighed and we request a small donation of 40 cents per
pound. There isn't any charge for certain plentiful items, and scarce items may have limitations to insure that there is enough to go around. We suggest that you bring your own containers to transport materials. Don't forget to pick up your parting gift at the door (one per member card only). |
