Like Recycling for R.I. Education, Africa Reads has as its vision that children will be competent and confident through self-discovery and active participation in learning and
creative experiences. Our organizations recognize that children need materials to learn, and that literacy is a widespread primary target area for early
learning. Embracing a philosophy of recycling and reusing educational materials, our two organizations have partnered with each other to service students by creating educational
back-up kits to accompany books sent to Uganda.
